Our state-of-the-art, fully accredited surgicenter on Altos Oaks Drive in Los Altos includes a waiting area and courtyard for family members and friends, a pre-operative holding area, and a recovery area. The surgicenter is operated by a full-time nursing staff and an MD anesthesiologist. It is devoted exclusively to facial plastic surgery and body liposuction. This combination of location, facility, and specialized personnel maximizes our patients’ privacy, safety, comfort, and overall quality of care. Anesthesia

Whenever we choose to perform surgery using general or IV anesthesia, we do so with three goals in mind: maximize safety, maximize comfort, and maximize results. For these reasons, we employ a full-time, board-certified, physician-anesthesiologist who personally handles all anesthesia in our surgicenter. Every patient who will be under general or IV sedation anesthesia will meet with our anesthesiologist prior to surgery to discuss any questions or concerns. Particular attention is addressed toward avoiding any post-operative discomfort or nausea.

The combination of a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in plastic surgery anesthesia and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center helps us create the best possible environment for safety and comfort.

Cost and Payment Info

We believe that a straightforward discussion of cost and various payment options is an important part of any consultation. Obviously, the goals, recommended procedures, and treatments for every individual will be different. It is therefore difficult to give specific cost estimates without a personal consultation. However, we do believe that an understanding of the following general principles is important:

  1. The cost of a consultation visit for facial analysis or for the discussion of a specific treatment or surgery is $65.00.
  2. The cost of your initial consultation can be deducted from the cost of any surgery that we perform, should you decide to proceed with some type of surgical procedure at our outpatient surgicenter.
  3. For operative procedures, a discussion of costs will take place with the surgeon. In addition, an itemized fee estimate sheet will be provided for each patient to take home.
  4. We feel that an open discussion of all surgical and procedural costs prior to any surgery or procedure being performed is crucial for an overall positive experience with any decision to proceed with facial rejuvenation. To this end, please do not hesitate to bring up any issues or concerns, or to ask questions regarding the costs of any procedure.
